The Oscar Niemeyer Cultural Center

The Niemeyer just outside Aviles in northern Spain, opened on Wednesday March 23 rd.  On Thursday, Niemeyer opened a museum of his own work, called the Oscar Niemeyer Foundation in Niteroi, Brazil.

The square in front of the Auditorium is a large open outdoor space designed for cultural activities and can accommodate up to 10,000 people.  photos - link
