WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD
My stay in London
.............................
Many years ago I went on school trip in London.
We stayed in an English style hotel, called Kensington, with wooden stairs and stained glass windows. It was located on the corner of Hyde Park.
I preferred to go by bus more than in the subway, because I could see everything through the window. The bus always passed by Albert Memorial and the Royal Albert Hall. I liked double-decker buses. People looked at us because we spoke very loudly. We were young ...
I remember the huge British Museum, the Wax Museum, Piccadilly Square, Houses of Parliament.
I took some photos, one in front of the Albert Memorial, in front of Hyde Park.
I bought my mother coasters and special tea in a very original piece of porcelain box.
My roommate got sick.
I expected rainy weather, but we had four days of blue sky.
I like to go back and I will always remember the Royal Palace, the Tower of London, the Changing of the Guard, Parliament, ... I´d like to use my basic English ...

Today another famous singer
True blue (Madonna)
Hey
What
Listen
I've had other guys
I've looked into their eyes
But I never knew love before
'Til you walked through my door
I've had other lips
I've sailed a thousand ships
But no matter where I go
You're the one for me baby this I know, 'cause it's
Chorus:
True love
You're the one I'm dreaming of
Your heart fits me like a glove
And I'm gonna be true blue baby I love you
I've heard all the lines
I've cried oh so many times
Those tear drops they won't fall again
I'm so excited 'cause you're my best friend
So if you should ever doubt
Wonder what love is all about
Just think back and remember dear
Those words whispered in your ear, I said
(chorus twice)
Intermediate:
No more sadness, I kiss it good-bye
The sun is bursting right out of the sky
I searched the whole world for someone like you
Don't you know, don't you know that it's
True love, oh baby, true love, oh baby
True love, oh baby, true love it's
(repeat)
True, so if you should ever doubt
Wonder what love is all about
Just think back and remember dear
Those words whispered in your ear, I said
(intermediate)
(chorus)
'Cause it's
True love, oh baby, true love, oh baby
True love, oh baby, true love it's
(repeat)
"White Flag" is a song by English singer-songwriter Dido, released as the lead single from her second album Life for Rent on September 2003. "White Flag" is the biggest hit of Dido’s career. It is considered one of her signature songs, and helped Life for Rent sell over ten million copies worldwide. The song was nominated for the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 46th Grammy Awards, but lost to Christina Aguilera’s "Beautiful". It won the Best British Single at the 2004 Brit Awards. The music video, directed by Joseph Kahn features actor David Boreanaz as Dido’s love interest. (Wikipedia)
"Dido" Florian Cloud de Bounevialle Armstrong learned to play several instruments from a young age. Such was her interest in music, that she abandoned a law degree to pursue a musical career.
She had been collaborating with her brother, and his band Faithless, in 1995 and when this sparked interest amongst the musical establishment, she was able to hand them some demo tracks she had recorded.
"A Serious man" (by Ethan Coen and Joel Coen) is a strange film, with weird attitudes. So I did not undertand anything until the last minute before the end...
I went to Turkey - in Istanbul, Ephesus, Izmir, Cappadocia, Ankara - with my wife in last September. It was her dream holidays.
We flew with Turkish Airlines from Asturias to Madrid them from Madrid to Istanbul.
We found really nice hotels where to stay in.
Istanbul is packed with tourists. The weather in September was cloudy.
We did a lot of sightseeing in group with the guide.
We woke up early and we got to the hotel tired because everyday we visited a lots of interesting places of historic monuments - Hagia Sophia, the mosques, the markets, the palaces, The Tower and Bridge Galati, Great Bazaar, Hippodrome.. -
We bought some gifs for the family and friends in tourist shops and Great Bazaar. For me I bought some books about tourist places of Turkey. I took lots of photos. I looked like a Japanese!
It was a good idea. Turkey is worth a visit…
